Leaners of Netspace Culinary Arts School exchanged with Ms. Christine Ha – American Master Chef 2012

On July 11th, 2016, students at Netspace Culinary Arts School attended the exchange meeting with Ms. Christine Ha – a blind chef who became the Champion of American Master Chef 2012, and Chef Jack Lee – famous American Chef as well as Culinary Representative of Netspace School.

Christine Huyen Tran Ha – Ha Nguyen Tran – A Vietnamese American – was born in 1979 in Los Angeles, California. She was the champion of the third season of the American competitive reality TV series Master Chef in 2012 that was broadcast on the system FOX TV network, in the United States in 2012. Christine Ha was the first blind person attending the Master Chef Competition and then she overcame thousands of American opponents to become the Champion of American Master Chef 2012.

Christine Ha is known as the girl with the innate talent of cooking, owner of great taste, the sincerity, simplicity, especially the extraordinary courage and passion for creative dishes.

Christine Ha is currently the official judge of the show Master Chef: Top chef in Vietnam, 3rd season. 

 

At the discussion session, many learners of Culinary Arts Course and Beverage Service Course had a chance to meet and discuss with Christine Ha. She shared her advice and experience for them so that they will become professional chefs and professional baristas in the future.

“For cookery, when cooking any dishes, you need to have the passion, confidence and enthusiasm. Especially, if you always try to follow and pursue your cookery passion, you will be a successful chef” said Ms. Christine Ha.

In addition, there was a discussion session between Ms. Christine Ha and Chef Jack Lee with Mr. Nguyen Quoc Y – Principal of Netspace Culinary Arts School. Ms. Christine Ha thanks to Mr. Nguyen Quoc Y. She hopes that Netspace Culinary Arts School will be successful not only in research programs but also in the application of techniques of cooking foods to become a professional training culinary school.

Especially, at the end of discussion session, Chef Jack Lee and Ms. Christine Ha enjoyed Pho made by Mr. Nguyen Quoc Y – “physician cook” of Pho Viet, who has discovered a quick way to shorten the time for cooking Pho.

Pho is the first dish she think about and desire to enjoy when turning back Vietnam.

She reviewed that Pho was very delicious, tasty, especially, the flavor of Pho attracted her very much
